Our team of engineers is available to provide prompt assistance for any plumbing or heating emergencies.  As a homeowner, it is your responsibility to maintain the water pipes that run from the boundary of your property into your home, including internal pipes and fittings. As a tenant, it is the landlord's responsibility to ensure proper maintenance of water pipes and promptly address any leaks. It is recommended that you consult with your landlord beforehand to determine if they have a home emergency coverage.


Timely repair of leaks is crucial to prevent further damage and conserve water resources. Resulting in increased costs. Prioritise checking if you possess a home emergency cover or if your house insurance policy includes coverage for emergency leaks. It is important to consider the potential long-term financial impact before filing a claim on your home insurance, as it may result in an increase in your insurance premiums.

Boiler issues?

After the summer months, when boilers have been inactive. Some boilers have difficulty restarting the central heating system. Without a functioning boiler, your home will be chilly and lacking of hot water. This may cause you tension; fortunately, we are here to assist that stress.  If we do not have the necessary spare part, we will order it as soon as possible and schedule a time to repair your boiler securely.

Preventive Actions

Don't delay until you smell gas or you have a burst pipe! To reduce the likelihood of gas and plumbing emergencies, we offer a variety of maintenance and preventative services, such as pipe lagging and boiler servicing.

What To Do In An Emergency?

Prompt action is essential in the event of a gas emergency. Please follow these guidelines to ensure your safety.

 

  • Turn off the gas emergency control valve at the meter, if possible.
  • Extinguish all naked flames and don’t smoke.
  • Don’t operate electrical switches including turning light switches on or off because this can ignite escaping gas.
  • Get fresh air immediately, make sure you open all doors and windows to ventilate the area.
  • Contact the relevant National Gas Emergency service straight away – 0800 111 999 / LPG – contact number on storage vessel or meter.
  • If the attending emergency operative identifies an issue with any gas appliances, follow their advice concerning the use of the equipment. Where advised, contact a local Gas Engineer, please call us on 07724 401 550 for an immediate response to fix the appliance and check it’s safe. Don’t turn the gas supply on again until it’s been checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
  • If you’re feeling unwell, visit your GP or hospital immediately and let them know you may have been exposed to carbon monoxide.
